Originally from London England, Christina’s extensive travels brought to her Canada in 1982. Without question, it is her world travels that have influenced her creativity. In response to an intoxicating fascination with colour, the artist’s paintings are infused with glorious testimonies to the secrets stored on her palette. Random shapes, values, discord, harmonies, symmetry, asymmetry, all are communicated with a skill providing ready testimony to Drummond’s very considerable talent.

Drummond is an abstractionist of note, her optimism shining through all of her works. Apart from colour, form, and emotion, the artist infuses her paintings with breathtaking energy. This palpable energy is undoubtedly fuelled by an undeniable passion for expression borne out in her paintings as well as her lifelong love participating in sports.

As Picasso said, "If I don't have red, I use blue."

Always a possibility-thinker, Drummond does the same. The results? Wonderment.

“I first met Tina when I lived in the Bahamas over 35 years ago.  Although she hadn’t yet taken up painting, her creative nature shone through in the way she decorated her home and in the beautiful presentation of her wonderful meals.  It was apparent, even then, that she had an eye for both color and perspective.

As Show Coordinator for the AHA (Artistes Hudson Artists) association for several years, and President for two years, I have had the opportunity to observe the creative growth of many fellow artists in many different styles and genres.  From her very first painting, Tina demonstrated an innate creative talent.  Not only are the shapes and colors of her pieces pleasing to the eye, but she manages to create movement in her paintings, keeping them both interesting and alive for the viewer.  Relatively few abstract artists are able to achieve this with the natural flow that Tina demonstrates.

Owning one of Tina’s paintings, and following her progress, has given me a huge return on my investment, as I discover something new and exciting in her pieces each time I see them.”
